monsterhojo's Full Review: SONY CLIE T615C/S SILVER 16MB HHLD USB HOTSYNC CR...
I purchased my Sony Clie 6 months ago when it was the top of the line. I have since seen it come down in price by about $150, and I have seen other manufacturers produce similar products.
I had to learn the hard way that 1) the buttons on the front can power the unit on, 2) putting the unit in a purse can cause those front buttons to turn on and force the unit to stay on and 3) if the unit stays on long enough and the battery is completely drained, the unit will dump any and all information and downloads. In order to safeguard against this, I purchased a 128 MG Memory Stick for about $60 and a hard carrying case for about $30. Should my information get dumped again, I can reload without using my computer.
This was my first PDA, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I have found it to be a very valuable tool for work and private business. The only drawback I am finding is difficulty if locating accessories made for the Sony PDAs. Specifically, I have not been able to find a portable full-sized keyboard that will fit this model.
Whereas the battery life could always be longer, I keep it in its charger cradle while I am at work, and have never even had it run low during normal use. The desktop software has also been very useful.
