Outstanding photo printing, very quiet, and surprisingly fast prints for such high resolution.
However, even WITH the expensive "official" Epson print cartridges, the print heads are CONSTANTLY getting clogged. When this happens, you must use the "Clean Print Heads" utility over and OVER to finally get them cleared, thus wasting LOTS of expensive inks and not a small amount of time, as well.
Perhaps if it was CONSTANTLY in use printing color photos, it would not clog. But I only use it a few times a week, and it is invariably clogged again when I first try to print something. Lots of time and ink wasted cleaning and re-cleaning the heads and printing out test patterns.
While I am quite satisfied with the results when it finally does print, If I had it to do all over again, I would try another printer that wasn't such a pain in the butt to keep operational.
