I watch HSN on TV, and if I see something interesting on TV, I visit their online shop for more details and info about the products. I have purchased this(using right now) internet appliance at $300.(with printer) last year, then ordered a quilt(bed spread) earlier this year at sale price, and just ordered Terry Lewis jacket 2 days ago.
I don't buy so much with HSN as you can see. I often see "Sold out" sign for many items when I visit their online shop after their show on TV. (I can see how popular their show is), so sometimes I can't get what I want, but it's fun to watch on TV and browse their online store as well.
The best thing is the option of payment for many items. My latest order Terry Lewis Jacket was $79.00. I could choose 1 full payment($79.00 plus shipping) or 2 payments($39.00 plus shipping for this month and another $39.00 in the next month). I chose 2 payments. so even when I have not enough allowance left, I can shop. this is convenient.
There're something inconvenient about thier service. we have to pay shipping for each item, their shipping fee is not based on total order amount. And standard shipping is kind of slow. (they notified me that my order would be processed and shipped within 48 hours for my latest order, but even after 48 hours, my order status info says "ready to ship". it's not been shipped yet!!). I remember that it took over 10 days for delivery for my last order.(so it's slow). And coupon is really unfair. they often offer coupons(currently 10-20% off coupon for HSN are available on many online coupon sites for example), but it's always "For first customers only". My first purchase was computer product as I mentioned. As you can imagine, their coupons can't be used on expensive items like computer products (and many electronics items as well). so I didn't get any discount for my first purchase with HSN. then once my e-mail address and other info(name, shipping address, phone# etc..) have been recorded in their customer data, they know I am not first time customer and never allow me to use any coupons, so I've never got any discount offer.
But I still enjoy the shopping show and continue to shop whenever I see something I like.
