There has to be something better

Pros: After set up it is easy to process a credit card.
Cons: Outrageous price, non-working AVS, terrible customer support, does not value current customers
The Bottom Line: Try to find somebody else. NOVA makes more off my sales than I do...and I get nothing in return.

I have been processing with NOVA for over a year. I am paying an outrageous discount rate on top of the high set-up fees. The software they sell for hundreds of dollars is a program that a 10year old kid could make on any outdated computer, when I asked about this they told me that the price of the software was high because of the support it requires for setup. HA! it took 30min for somebody to read me out of a book how to set it up, after waiting 2days for them to schedule me.
I had a sale that was over $1000 which AVS said was the right street address. I shipped it and then 2 months later they took the money back out of my account without notice. After I called they faxed me the notice and told me that I was out of luck because they don't cover that, they just offer the AVS service for me to make a decision on whether or not to process the card.
WHY DO THEY CHARGE DOUBLE IF FOR MAIL ORDER ACCOUNTS IF YOU HAVE NO MORE COVERAGE THAN A SWIPE ACCOUNT DOING MAIL ORDER??????
