very high shipping prices, terrible customer service

i'm a big fan of target as a store, but my first experience w/ target.com was very negative. i ordered 4 items, 2 were large, 1 medium & 1 fairly small. shipping was shown as over $40. i thought the high shipping cost was due to oversized items so i went ahead w/ the transaction. it was only when i received the items that i learned that target had packed & shipped each item in a separate box! no wonder the shipping costs were so high. at worst, they could have gotten everything into 2 boxes. not only were the shipping costs ridiculous, this is wasteful of environmental resources. i emailed customer service & received a perfunctory blow off. BTW, there is no phone number anywhere on the site as far as i can tell, so it's not like you can talk to a human being or anything. I most definitely will not be shopping target.com again.
