This product is truly unbelievable when it comes to value and performance. First off this dvd player comes with a decoder card which means that your system doesn't need to waste valuable resources on running the dvd's. Second plus I can think of is it's ability to be fully compatible with Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS sound. The sound is unbeleivable on this little beauty. All the stereo sound you can handle is pumped out of the decoder card and is crisp and clear and makes you feel as if you are right in the action. The fact that this is a 12x dvd gives you plenty of relentless speed that keeps your dvd's running virtually pause proof. I have yet to have any problems with my dvd's playing choppy. The graphics with my current setup makes it seem like I am watching my dvd's on a regular tv as opposed to a monitor.
I only had one draw back to this player. I had a small amount of trouble installing a driver from the disc but that was no problem. The rest of installation was a breeze and I was off and running after 15 minutes of first opening the box. I think that one other incredible feature to this dvd-rom is the tv out which you may or may not use but is a great feature that should keep everyone satisfied.
