Pros: Dual-tuner, excellent remote control, quiet, has digital audio output, expandable.
Cons: User interface could be more responsive. Not HDTV aware.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend SAT-W60 over other DVRs because of high quality remote with functional buttons, digital audio output and very easy of use.

I've put most of my comments in pros & cons.. I've been using it for about 1.5 years. Very satisfied with the performance and functionality.
Live TV is dead. At our house we never watch live channels, even the news. Manual 30sec forward and 7sec reverse skip buttons on the remote control are very useful.
We have most of our home theather equipment from Sony. So it was really easy to connect to everything.
We're using SAT-W60's remote control as primary remote.
I wish it supported cableTV. Currently you must have DirecTV service through satellite. For those who live in apartments, it's not that easy to find satellite line-of-sight..
