| iyeranium's Full Review: MicronPC TransPort GX3 Notebook Computer |
Finally a great laptop that actually sticks to its profile. With the release of GX3, Micron has proved that it can make some serious machines. If you are looking for replacing your PC at home with this power laptop, I will say don't think twice. Perfect choice.
It is fully loaded with the business point for user. Has every port that you wish to see along with two USB's and 2 IEEE port. The keyboard is one of the features I liked Micron always. Smooth key features. The 15" display is neat and quality is very high. It has built in DVD-CDRW combo. I have 50 MB hard drive with 512 MB RAM, Pentium 4, 2.0 GHz speed. All I could ask for.
Highlight of this laptop is the FInger print scanner. It is the only other laptop I believe that came up with this feature along with IBM. Finger print security is very neat and easy to set up. It has not failed for me once. Infact you can set up provisions to individual folders in the system.
The price is not bad at all for such a machine. Compare it all the other deals you get for such a price and see for yourself. I checked the various top site ratings and Micron has definetly an upper hand.
The larger battery provides a greater life as compared to toshiba, Dell, IBM etc.
