The Bottom Line: I feel if your just starting out in getting a good home audio system that cranks and your wallet is not packed with cash this is a great amp..

I was impressed with this amp. when I attached my KLH speakers to it, plain and simple it cranks. It stays very cool which is a good thing for any electronic devices. It has a high distortion rate at low volumes though. I like it's basic design, very easy to opperate. Not a hundred buttons to get lost with. Nice amp to have when your waking up in the morning or coming home at night with a buzz on. The frequency response is great plenty of lows and nice high end also. This amp. definatly sounds better cranked up. Now I don't know why they did not include a tape monitor button for a good eq set up. I did hook a eq up to this amp. through my cd player. My speakers and the amp. did not like that. For some reason a eq overdrives the amp even at the lowest setting of eq output, (not eq level ajustments)If you need a low priced amp. that cranks and is dependable, durable, this is the amp. for you.
