I work at a climbing gym and we sell this package deal. It's a great deal for anyone looking to get into climbing. We sell the set of six quickdraws for $75. That is a great price, you can't find much else of this quality for anywhere near that price.
However, in my opinion, the slings on these quickdraws are a little too flimsy for my taste. I like a draw that is fairly stiff and isn't going to move when I'm trying to clip into it. Also, I personally prefer Petzl's keylock design as opposed to the gate on these quickdraws. (See my review for the Petzl Spirits for an explanation) In Metolius's defense, the Petzl's are about twice the price.
So, if you're on a budget, like most of us are, go ahead and pick up a set of these quickdraws, you can't beat them for the price.
