One Sweet Antenna

Written: Nov 24 '02
Pros:Compact size, understandable instructions, included mounting hardware.
Cons:Price(in retail stores).
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend the antenna to anyone who has DBS and no local service, or someone who hates cable. This antenna is well worth the price.

I currently subscribe to DirecTV, but in Tucson, AZ there is no local channel support so I installed a Terk 42 antenna that clips to the DirecTV dish, this was fine for most channels, but not all. So I upgraded to a Terk TV-55 and have been amazed at the difference, the local channels now look crystal clear, as if there were from a cable source and was relatively easy to hook up with the included mounting hardware. I mounted it to the DirecTV mast and you can barely see it from the front of the house. But don't buy it in a retail store as they are about $100.00, I bought mine on eBay for $63.00 plus shipping.
