bigger is not always better

The Bottom Line consider size and the amount of time you will be using the item in question before buy it.
consider the size of the tool you are considering to purchase.
I use these all the time in my cabinet shop
1 thing stands out the most about these tools is the sizes and shapes they now come in.
consider this before you buy it. the weight of a cordless 18v drill is heavier then most drills with cords attached, thus creating more hand and arm fatigue. They don't fit well at all in a cabinet shop. For a average home owner they may find it useful ,but in a job environment they can be a hassle.
I find that a 9v cordless is the most comfortable in jobs and a lots less lighter for production type environment. and they can fit into a tool belt.
the average home owner will find it most comfortable in their hands and budgets as well.
so yes bigger is not always better. but you decide for your self ,but while at your local tool shop ask to hold both with batteries in place and you will most likely feel a difference .
