Vividence - Earn Your Amazon.Com Gift Certificates Here!
Nov 29, 2002
|Effort vs. Reward:
Just when you think that all the good reward and survey sites have taken their last breath you happen to come across a site that not only pay, but pays well for your time and opinion. Some sites throw you a few pennies here and there and others enter you into a monthly sweepstakes Vividence pays you in the form of Amazon.com gift certificates and maintains a highly professional site. The majority of surveys that I have been eligible to take part in have been in the automotive area be it dealer websites or actual vehicles but they do have surveys in other areas. A few others that I was invited to participate in were travel sites, hotel websites and vacation destinations. If you are willing to sit down for about 30 minutes and follow the guidelines of the survey youll be on the receiving end of a $10.00 Amazon.com gift certificate a few days later.
How It Works
First you have to go to the website and create an account supplying the basic information name, country, birth year and email address. You will also be asked to create a password so you can access the site. Do yourself a favor and write this information down in case you dont get a survey right away. I missed a few survey opportunities due to the fact that I couldnt remember my password and had to ask to have it sent to me. When I went to log into the site I was told that the quota had been met and the survey had been closed.
Be sure to fill out all the information at the site. This will increase the chances you have of being asked to participate in a survey. Make sure you check the site from time to time to see if they have added any additional sections and make sure you read your emails on a regular basis. Dont ignore the emails that ask you to answer a few questions since these are usually prescreening surveys that may lead to a paying one. You can check the site from time to time to see if you qualify for a survey but most of the time checking your email often is good enough since they send them out as soon as you make a match based on the information your provided.
If you do get an email asking you to participate dont put it off! Most of the survey spots fill up quickly so the sooner you click that link and hit the site the closer you are to getting an active survey. Again, this is where having your username and password handy comes into play. With more and more people joining the site there more sharks in the pool so you need to try and stay ahead of the others that have been invited to participate.
Depending on what type of survey you will be taking you can expect to spend between 25 and 45 minutes taking part in the activity. Again, if you are just going to go through the motions to try and get a $10.00 Amazon.com gift certificate chances are your answers will be a dead giveaway and you wont get any type of reward nor will you be asked to take any further surveys. Some of the parts of the survey are multiple choice and ask you how easy it was to find information, complete a task or obtain an answer to a question. Some will ask you to type in your response. In all of the surveys that I have taken I have always been able to leave comments and feedback about the site at the end of the survey. This is helpful in case there was some part of the site you were evaluating that you had trouble with but there was no appropriate place to mention it. Of course not all the surveys will revolve around websites or manufacturer pages so if you get an invitation to something different dont be shocked.
In order to take a survey at the site you need to download the Vividence Connector. This locks into your Internet Explorer browser and allows you to take part in the survey. I have a cable modem so the download only takes me about 20 seconds from start to finish and when I am done with the survey I delete the Connector program from my computer. Why do I do this? For some reason the program starts of its own free will and slows down my computer from time to time. I hate having excess junk and unnecessary programs on my computer so its been a force of habit to delete the program once the data has been transmitted to the site. From what I can tell the program only interacts with the Vividence website but you never know when some hacker is going to find a way to use it for their benefit. Downloading the Connector is easy and you are provided with step-by-step instructions from start to finish. When you are done with the survey the information is then transmitted to the Vividence site and the Connector is closed.
Once you join the website and take a survey you will see the status of your pending reward in the Your Evaluations portion of the site. This allows you to see the last time you logged into the site, the number of surveys you have completed, allows you to request that the redemption code for your reward be resent to your email address and which surveys you have participated in. Once you complete a survey the information will be listed at the site and you can stop back and see the status of it. If you are thinking about filling in random answers or just clicking any box on the screen it will be pretty apparent to those that are screening the surveys and chances are you wont receive your reward. If you arent going to sit down and provide an honest review of the site or answer the questions to the best of your ability then please dont accept a survey.
I have received a majority of my redemption codes via email within five working days. Some arrive a few hours after I have completed the survey and others just seem to take longer. Ive never had to sit down and email them about not getting a reward nor have I ever had a code not work at the Amazon.com site. For those of you that arent familiar with how the redemption codes work here is the scoop. You will receive an email with a code, simply go to the Amazon.com website and cut and paste the code into the gift certificate box and it will be applied to your account. If you dont have an Amazon.com account you can create one free in about 30 seconds. This will allow you to bank your certificates. It is not necessary to spend each certificate when you receive it and they can be combined hence the gift certificate account.

Who Can Sign Up?
If you are over the age of 13 and a resident of the United States of America you can visit the Vividence website and create your account. If you are a European user you must be over the age of 18 to join the site, take surveys and receive payment. Make sure you enter the correct email address when you sign up so the site can contact you when you qualify for a survey. If you are unsure if you meet the requirements to join the site and take part in the surveys feel free to email the site at this address: firstname.lastname@example.org and ask any questions that you may have.
The Bottom Line
Overall this is a great site to deal with. Ive never had any trouble taking part in a survey or getting a reward after completing one nor have I ever heard of anyone having such issues. For a modest amount of time you are allowed to give your honest input on a subject or topic and you are compensated for your time. As with most reward sites you wont get rich from visiting this site or partaking in their program. If you sign up to this site expecting to make a few hundred dollars a month you will be highly disappointed. However, if you are looking to pick up a few extra dollars here and there then by all means check out this site. With so many sites taking forever to send out rewards that is if you can reach some magical point number in order to earn one its nice to come across a site that treats you with respect and rewards you for your time and feedback.
As always, thanks for the visit!
