I am reviewing the site AdamEve.com from which my husband and I have bought products for a long time, most recently in September.
Warning: Although this review will not be sexually explicit, the site is and is for adults only.
About the site:
AdamEve.com is a very busy place! It can be stimuli overload if you don’t know what you are looking for, but if sexually explicit pictures do not offend you- some clearly rated X- you will have fun looking around. One of the first things you will notice is the offer for something free. If you are a first time visitor you can get a video for $5.95.
What I like about the site the most is the amount of freebies offered. Before I tell you about the products, an example is our last order. We ordered “The Joy of Erotic Massage” for $24.95. That isn’t a bad price at all. I have been in adult stores and other sites on line and that is the going price. Along with this video we got a free catalog, a video called “American Beauties” and another bonus video. Everything comes packaged discreetly. In my last case the shipments came in two different packages. That may have been for there own convenience but it is more convenient also for me to have 2 small packages than one large one.
There is virtually nothing with an adult theme that cannot be purchased here. You can buy clothes, toys, wrapping paper (currently offering Christmas paper), DVDs, food (Pasta shaped like body parts for $6.00), candles, games and books. Everything I have ordered has been of high quality and I have never had to return any product.
If you are a Nina Hartley fan she has her own collection on this site.
There are several nice features:
1. The pages load very quickly.
2. There is an extensive clearance section.
3. There are links to new products as well as to Adam & Eve’s top ten picks making it easier to shop if you don't know what to buy and you are looking for help.
4. There is a shopping guide, which is fantastic. If you are new to the adult entertainment world you should start here. It will tell you everything you want to know but were afraid to ask.
5. You will find some porn stars who have a line being sold at AdamEve.com. That in and of itself is nothing unusual but I really like the new line by Candida Royalle, who has a Femme Collection featuring "woman friendly" items. This is a less graphic line so for those of you just starting out this may also be a place to find items.
6. They offer links to parents “If you are a parent who is interested in limiting access to sites like these for minors, we suggest the following programs” and you can click one of them on.
7. The product selection is incredible. Did you know there is a waterproof vibrator and if you are looking for a doll, she is on sale?
Buying, shipping, returns:
Buying is simple. When you checkout you will be given a list of products. Depending on how much you have spent will determine how many you can request for free. Since I spent less than $20, I was entitled to one free video.
Typically, all orders ship within 2 business days from the time your order is processed. Standard shipping is via United States Postal Service (USPS). It may take up to 3 weeks for delivery. That is a long time so if you want this as a gift, plan ahead or pay an additional $6.00 for 2 day shipping (Which is worth this if this is a last minute gift.) Standard shipping costs $5.95. I have never had a problem with not receiving an item ordered and have never had to contact customer service. Insurance is offered for $2.95. I have never opted for insurance but if I were buying the doll for $500 I would!
American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted.
AdamEve.com offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee. “Every item you order from adameve.com is protected by our Triple Guarantee.” This, as all the information (including information on safe sex.) is spelled out clearly and is easy to follow.
My final thoughts:
If you are looking for adult products, this, in my opinion, is the best store online. I will at some point review other adult sites from which I have bought products. There are many and some are not as sexually explicit as this one so would be a place to shop if the pictures offend you. I have never had any problem with this site, with shipping or receiving my order. This is a 5 star site.
