The Bottom Line: Orange Clean is an excellent cleaning product that I recommend highly if you use reasonable caution around your kids, pets; keep windows open when using large quantities in particular.

I am reviewing Orange Clean Tough Acting Degreaser Multi-purpose cleaner. While I generally use another product that has a lighter citrus scent (and is innately safer), it does not always clean the really, really tough greasy spots, and that is when I grab Orange Clean.
Orange Clean is packaged in an orange plastic container with a squeeze top applicator, a spray pump containing 22 fluid ounces, and should cost a little over $4.00. I am able to easily purchase it at either the grocery store, drugstore, or online, so availability, at least where I live (in So. California) is not a problem. Of course, the price will vary depending on where you make your purchase. This packaging states that it is a new formula that is streak free. I appreciate streak free for glass cleaners, but don't really require it for this product and the manner that I use it, but it may be helpful to others.
Manufacturer Claims:
Orange Clean combines the natural cleaning power of pure orange oil with other strong cleaning agents. It is perfect for greasy, grimy messes in your kitchen and all around your home, while leaving a lasting fresh scent of oranges.
Their suggestions for use:
Kitchen appliances, counters, cabinets, walls, doors and much more
Orange Glo's directions:
Spray on soiled area and wipe clean. Rinse if necesary. For baked on grease or thick soap film wait several minutes before wiping.
They do note cautions to keep away from both your kids and pets, and indicate that if you get in your eyes accidentally, to wash out with water.
My experience:
As I mentioned above I prefer using another product the majority of the time (sunandearth products) however they have to be ordered online, and I am not always proactive so sometimes run out and forget to place an order. I purchased Orange Clean for those times, and also for times when I require really heavy duty cleaning. I have used Orange Clean frequently in my service porch area where I keep my washer and dryer, and the always great smelling cat box. While my cats are quite clean, they go through a dramatic procedure in using their box and are not always aiming in the appropriate direction (according to me, not them). Sometimes it also seems they try to impress each other with their technique, and those times I need thorough cleaning. I also scrub the walls and hot water heater located there. This is also a product I use for my stove and refrigerator and in the bathroom for the walls. Though they state you can use on counters in the kitchen and bathroom, I prefer to use the other product so I don't risk my pets' health and well being. I don't presently have kids at home, so that is not a concern, but if I did I'd ensure I had the product located in a hard to reach cabinet or with safety locks.
What I like:
This is a very hard working cleaning product and can get out the toughest of the tough messes. I do like the orangy scent. I like the way you simply squeeze the purple lever rather than pouring it out, or having to hassle with diluting. This is my choice when I run out of my other products.
What I don't care for:
I'm uncomfortable that this product is unsafe for pets and children. The scent can be very strong if you don't have a door or windows open at the time of use. Additionally, though they list the main ingredients, they are vague about the others. Why is this, unless they are potentially dangerous?
Final thoughts:
I really do enjoy and appreciate the Orange Glo products, and notice that other companies are now emulating them. To me, they are the real thing, however I would use with caution, and consider using products that are safer for your pets and kids. Orange Clean does clean those tough spots so I do recommend them for that purpose. I am giving this product 3 1/2 stars. The reduction of 1 1/2 stars is simply because of the strength of the product (that also makes it a stronger/better product)and that you need to be cautious. I wish someone would invent cleaning products that are safe for everyone, and fantastic cleaners also, but perhaps I ask for too much!
