The Bottom Line: I like this car seat & if I had the chance to do it again, I would definitely make the same purchase.
I bought this car seat when my daughter was getting too big for her other car seat, but was not yet thirty pounds. This was one of the few booster seats that started at 20 lbs. instead of 30. It also goes clear up to 60 lbs., which is nice. It will last for a while. I liked the tray & cup holder features on the car seat. I found my car seat on sale at EStyle.com & even paying shipping charges, it was cheaper than comparable models at local discount stores that were not nearly as nice as this one (Last I checked, they are still selling on that site for the sale price).
I like that this seat is very roomy, yet holds the child in securely. Because of the way the car seat is strapped in to the car, it also seems to fit snuggier to the seat than any other car seats I have used. There is no give on this seat. Even if you pull forward & sideways on it, it simply does not budge. I'm sure that this would be very beneficial in a crash, though thankfully I have not tested out that theory. The seat is also very easy to clean. Every bit of material on it can be stripped off and thrown in the washing machine. It all attaches back on easily, so it is not a struggle to put it back together when you're through. There is a handle built in to the top of the back of the seat which also makes dealing with the seat easier, especially if you switch it between vehicles as we do. Though a very minute detail, I also like the look of this seat. It is an attractive seat, both in the shape and the fabric.
Overall, I like this car seat a lot, but there are features that could be improved upon. The tray is slanted downward & only has a partial well on one side. Because of this, things tend to slide off the tray and end up in the child's lap. The cup holder is fine for a standard sippie cup, but anything bigger will not fit. The decorative cover for the tray is kept on by two velcro strips that my 1 1/2 year old figured out how to undo in about 10 seconds flat. The clip on the shoulder straps also moves up and down easily and I don't even have to move it myself anymore. My daughter slides it up herself when I put her in & slides it down herself when it is time to get out. This is fine, except there have been a few times that she decided to slide it down as we were going down the road and slip her arms out of the straps. This would not be a good situation if we were to get in a wreck.
