When I bought this game I got it online. I got the collector's edition. When I opened it up and started playing I seen how they did a very good job on keeping the story line from Red Alert to make Red Alert 2 better than ever. I didn't like the DVD disk that came with it that much though. It was only good for showing you some of the pictures they didn't use and all the movies to the game.

For the other parts of this game like the multiplayer part. The internet play is very fun. Although if you have this game or decide to get it and play online. Please have a 56K modem or better. (It helps get to the battle a lot quicker!) For the one player multi. game against the computer. It is nice how you can pick who you want to fight against, how many people play, and the difficulty. Plus the fact that you can either play with Super Weapons or not is a nice choice to have if you aren't very good at this game.

In addition, I like how if you play as one of the country like America, you get a special item or person(s).
Allied Forces:
America has Paratroopers, France has the Grand Cannon, Germany has the Tank Destroyer, Britain has a Sniper, and Korea has the Black Eagle.
Soviet Forces:
Russia has Tesla Tanks, Cuba has a Terrorist, Libya has demolition Trucks, and Iraq has a Desolator.

In conclusion, this is one of the best games from Westwood that I have ever played. And, if you liked Red Alert you will love Red Alert 2.
