As I just wrote in a comment on kristinafh's review of LNT, I worked in their store for a short stint part time to pay some bills, and I wasn't always too thrilled with their services.
Overall, it's probably easier/safer to shop online for bridal registry gifts, just because you know that the item will be wrapped and shipped and accounted for. In the store, I am a little hesitant, because you will always want to make sure the cashier notes that the item(s) you buy are noted on the bridal registry (so other people aren't ordering more of those items!).
I also remember in-store problems of trying to get the registry printer to work, so that customers could walk around with a paper printout of the items to browse.
I guess either way, there are plenty of possible obstacles to stumble on. I was never thrilled with the service at LNT, and even going on the website after work to search for a product online, I was often frustrated.
Sadly, they do have a nice store, and often get confused with Bed Bath & Beyond. I'm sure, though, recently and in the future, that you can expect good and better customer service, because the company is truly striving for better employee practices.

The problems I encountered occurred because I ordered through the Gift Registry. Apparently the Gift Registry isn't interfaced correctly and doesn't offer the same options that the regular website does. The Customer Service Rep told me that the Gift Registry isn't equipped to accept your catalog coupons, but that because I had brought it to his attention, he could have it credited. Gift wrap isn't mentioned in the registry, because all gifts ordered through the registry are gift-wrapped, but buyers aren't aware of this feature.

That is the kind of online experience that just makes me crazy.
Either you're serious about being an online retailer or not...make up your mind.

your title (sounds like a pressing problem and review. The site sounds appealing if they can work out the gift related problems, but that is a biggie especially at this time of year. Thanks for the heads-up.
