Pros: Good acting, tatoos, and hair.
Cons: A little slow.
The Bottom Line: If you like Val Kilmer or originally odd type of films, check this out.

Watched this movie the other night. I usually like Val Kilmer so I thought that I would check this out. The very first thing that I noticed was the great artwork(fake tattoos)that Val had on his back. I liked the whole look that he had going on in this film. I noticed a couple of other actors that I liked as well. Mainly the faces that you would recognize but don't necessarily know their names. The film starts off right smack in the middle of a 4 day binger with Val and fellow "Tweekers". Reminded me a little of maybe a Trainspotting type of film. It's really not though. The acting of Val being "under the influence" was semi believable at times, not believable at others. One thing that I really liked about the film was the soundtrack. Really good. It was a must for some of the moods that the director was trying to get across.
Vincent D'Onofrio who you might remember as the everchanging face from such films as "Full Metal Jacket" is an odd but humorous character in this film.
