Pros:Clean rooms,Big rooms,free full breakfast,wonderful staff
Cons:Sometimes the price
The Bottom Line: Great staff, free breakfast, comfy rooms, and good amenities, what more could you want?
I stay at this hotel quite frequently for business in Seattle. It's really a great hotel. It is located in a very low-key, and quiet area of Bellevue. Their are really no attractions that are around the hotel. It is about a 20-30 minute drive from downtown seattle. If your coming to Seattle for sight-seeing, and you want to stay at this hotel, I recommend that you rent a car. If it's for business, this hotel is perfect for you, because it's in a very quiet area and not on a main road. Perfect for doing lots of work or relaxing. It's five floors with vending machines on each floor and spacious rooms. It is always my hotel of choice in Seattle.
THE ROOMS-
The thing that I love about the rooms is that they are very spacious and clean. As you walk-in under your feet is a lavendar carpet, with lovely wall paper on the walls and plenty of amenities. Microwave, sink area, mini-fridge, dining table, and a couch(which can be turned into a bed). They also have spacious bathrooms. These bathrooms are equipped with showers, and tubs. The bathrooms are always clean and tidy. Opposite the couch is a fairly big TV with cable and movie channels. You may also order movies, play video games, or surf the internet. Of course these all come at a cost.
Next is the bedroom. Depending on your room, This room will be equipped with a king size bed, or a two double beds. It also has a large dresser with a another TV. The beds are very comfortable with plenty of pillows. An extra blanket and pillow are also on hand in your dresser. The TV has the same options avaliable as the TV in your living room. All rooms are lovely and comfortable. I highly recommend these rooms for large families.
HOTEL AMENITIES-
The Hotel has an indoor heated pool with a water fall, an indoor hot tub, a suana, a workout area, a restaurant, and a gift shop. The pool is quite small but still fun. The water fall can be fun for kids to play in and give them something to do in their spare time, so bring a bathing suite (even if it is Seattle). The hot tub is a nice place to relax after a long day. It is also capable of jet streams.
The suana is a nice place to get dried off after a swim. This room is very small, and it can get crowded sometimes.
The workout area is also small. The amenities in the workout room are, a bike, a treadmill, and weights. This can be good for people that are on the move and just dont seem to have anytime for working out.
The restaurant is located downstairs at the breakfast area. The lay-out of the restaurant is very nice. I really dont recommend eating at the hotel since it is so expensive though. The closest restuarant that I would recommend would be Outback steakhouse. It's only a few blocks away. Ask the concierge for the exact location. If you don't feel like driving a few blocks then you can eat at the hotel. The food is very good there, but the portions are small. I recommend the New York Strip Steak.
The gift shop is located downstairs across from the check-in area. Inside you can buy souvenirs, shirts, toys, and candy. It it very convenient, especially if you forgot something at home.
STAFF-
The staff at this Embassy Suites is usually above average when it comes to personal service. They make conversation and are willing to help you with any problems. I have called during the night requesting things such as, newspapers, towels, and combs. They deliver it immediately and don't make you feel like your bothering them. I have also have had problems with billing and they insisted on taking the charge off.
FREE FULL BREAKFAST-
This is one of the main reasons I stay at Embassy Suites. Breakfast is avaliable from 6-9 on weekdays and 7-10:30 on weekends and holidays. The choices are either pancakes, or french toast. To accompany this, you may have, eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and sausage. You may have as much as you'd like. Other things that are avaliable are, cereals, pastries, coffee, tea, and fruit. This breakfast can save you from having to pay for one meal for your family or yourself and if you push it, maybe even two. The only problem with this "buffet" is that these items are avaliable from behind a counter. This involves showing your room key and having the staff get your food. This can take awhile, making the line for breakfast extremly long.
I hope I covered anyone's question. If I didnt, please feel free to contact me at NorthwestAir987@aol.com and maybe I can answer your questions.
