Pros: Great Characters! Very lifelike, Music is uplifting. Exciting to play!
Cons: Some moves are quite difficult to perform unless you are a seasoned pro!
The Bottom Line: This is one of the better PS2 launch games, Good for hours of enjoyment for any age. Give it a shot.

I know I am far from the first to offer up my opinion on this game, But when I saw it here on epinions I couldn't help but add my 2 cents.
I quite enjoyed playing this game, It is fun alone or with friends in multiplayer mode. There are many different courses, an in game playable tutorial, Plus *Race mode* and *Show off mode* My favorite part of the game though is the different characters, The characters are very lifelike, And each has very specific personality traits, strengths, weaknesses and witty sayings. The music is very uplifting and adds to the excitement! In the beginning you can choose between 2 boards and 2 outfits per character, As you progress through the levels you get more choices for outfits and boards and eventually even a few new characters. I did however experience quite a bit of difficulty in performing some of the more complicated tricks, But eventually nailed most of them. If we could do all tricks and moves right off the bat the game would be to easy and become boring quite quickly. It's just hard enough to keep your interest. I give this game an overall thumbs up.
