I recently bought a batch of tickets through Moviefone and was charged a service fee per ticket for the convenience of using their service. Unfortunately, those tickets were mysteriously not available when I went to the theater to pick them up. The clerks at the theater couldn't or wouldn't help, and Moviefone's solution was for me to call back back again 3 days later and then ask for a refund.
Moviefone is owned by AOL and this is their version of customer service?! Evidently the customer service people can't solve a single problem all they can do is ask you to take time out of your schedule to call them back again and try to get it resolved. Evidently they are so useless that they can't even take a simple note and handle it on their own, they require their customers to keep calling in reminders!
Anyway . . . I ended up missing the movie and then had to pay AGAIN for the tickets I bought at the theater. So now I'm out double my money, but I also have to hassle with calling back Moviefone so that they can fix their problem
