Re: Eddie Bauer Jeans (Reply to this comment)

After that, expect holes to run rampant. I'm willing to pay more for a pair of jeans that wear better. Any suggestions?
Honestly for Khakis, I might suggest Dockers since they are made by Levi's and Levi's offers a gurantee on defects like just falling apart and the tag thing. I hope that helps some.

Eddie Bauer Jeans (Reply to this comment)
by chesapeakesun
I've been wearing EB Jeans and Khakis for the last two years almost exclusively. I love the fit, look and price of the jeans (the khakis are another story) - when they are new. I find they begin to fall apart rather quickly. The first thing to go (although it isn't that big a deal) is the leather tag on the back. After that, expect holes to run rampant. I'm willing to pay more for a pair of jeans that wear better. Any suggestions?

Thanks Kim,
I'd love to know what you think of them, if you (or your brother) try them out.

I always had the impression that the eddie bauer brand was a really expensive name... I would've never pegged them to be less expensive than levi's!
Well Eddie Bauer can definitely run on the expensive side depending on the product, but the jeans are definitely a bargain.
Thanks for reading.

All my brother ever wore were the Levi's Silvertab jeans that were fifty something dollars a pair. Now he wears structure jeans instead.
Thanks for the great review...maybe he will get a pair of these low priced jeans for Christmas! :-)

the Eddie Bauer Loose Fit Jeans. He avoided jeans for a couple of decades, assuming that would fit uncomfortably tight like his memories about classic Levis. Now he's sold on these because he looks SO good in them! He doesn't have trouble with the pockets wearing out but his eventually all rip in the crotch - probably from all the climbing around on roofs that he does.
