This is a very good communications device to use over the internet. It allows you to talk to people all over the world and you don't get charged for those long distance phone calls or constantly having to buy phone cards. Some of the features include buddy icons. These are just little cartoon figures that can be picked out and allows other users to see it when you are talking to them. You can also block people that you don't want bothering you or they keep bugging you about something. If you don't want to block them completely then you can just warn them by hitting the warn button. You can only use this some many times before it won't allow you to use it on that person anymore. There is also a ticker that when you log on it tells you the current news on the subjects that you have picked. You can have away messages so that way people know if your busy and not to bother you. One of the features is that you can use the microphone on your computer to talk to the other person and actually hear their voice on your computer. It also includes a function so you can plays games with each other over the net and nobody will bother you. Over all I would recommend this over any other messenger on the internet.
