These headphones are simply amazing. They are light and comfortable and reproduce sound very well. The bass is low and clear, and high-pitched sounds are reproduced clearly as well. The amplifier on the battery/circut box is a nice feature. The external box is not too big and houses batteries and the noise cancelling technology. This noise cancelling technology is amazing, and it makes flying MUCH nicer. Without the low pitched drone of airplane engines flights are much less tedious. This is especially nice in small planes. Batteries last about 80hrs. These headphones are amazing. If you don't fly (or work in noisy environments) you may want to consider a set of headphones without noise cancelling tech (the external box can occasinally be a pain). However these headphones are ESSENTIAL of any traveller--you have to experience these headphones on a flight to understand what I am talking about. The hadphones also come with numerous adaptors (for airplane audio and the old larger mini-plugs).
