One of the most useful investing site I have found on the internet is Clearstation. It is a wonderful tool that I use along with Bigcharts.com during the day. Clearstation provides charts that you are able to annotate with support and resistance lines and trend lines. The user is able to create and manage watch list of stocks. You can interact with other investors thru discussion boards. You can recommend stocks to other subscribers and they in turn make recommendations.

A simple click of the mouse, and the stock in question's fundamental data appears on your computer screen. If you want earnings or analyst recommendations it at your fingertips. Data on insider trading is as close as your mouse. There is ample information here for the self investor. And the really neat thing is that this site is very easy to use.

Read and study the education section. It deals with some of the basic tools of technical analysis.I found this section helpful and very interesting. Not only does it instruct you in how to use Clearstation; but there are also modules on graph reading, trending and oscillating graph patterns,portfolio management and the basics of trading.

A new feature is the section that is broken down into the various market sectors and industries. It has proven very valuable in the current market climate.
