Very Happy! Use it all of the time

Written: Dec 26 '02
Pros:Inexpensive, Small, Syncs w/Outlook, Ease of use, get organized
Cons:2mb memory, AAA batteries
The Bottom Line: Buy it now! Once you have one, you won't want to be w/o one. First PDA? Try this one.

This is certainly not a substitute for a laptop or pc, but is very, very useful. Get rid of your paper organizer. Has great functions like copy, paste, select all, etc. You can make simple drawings. Or create memo's. Put all of the information into categories if you would like, so that you only recall the information in specific categories, or see them all. Powerful, yet inexpensive.
Take notes for meetings, place all of your contacts in one place & easily edit them.
Wanted a starter handheld to see if they would be useful to me. It has made me very happy & in fact I'm buying one for my wife. I do plan on upgrading one day, but I don't really need too much more from a pda anyway. One of the most 'profound' things to me is that it synchronizes w/MS Outlook. So, once you enter information, just plug it in to your pc, press a button & all of the information is backed up on your pc. Changes things in outlook & press the button again & it changes it on your palm. If you lose the palm, you can still go to Outlook for the information. Or lose the info on your pc, the palm will have it.
I bought some rechargable AAA batteries & I have no problem w/that.
