Very poorly constructed device. Mine lost a few screws, and stopped recording after a few months. Not very much later it stopped reading discs alltogether. Repairing the unit is expensive, and only solves the problems for a few months. Research on the internet shows many people had the same problem, also with other sharp portable minidisc recorders. A bit of a setback, because otherwise the device was a very good machine. A lot of features, good size, good sound quality, not very difficult to operate (operating modern devices is never very easy due to their small sizes and the limited amount of buttons on them) and a friendly pricetag.
