Has Epinions improved or has it gone bad

The Bottom Line So has Epinions changed for the better, or has it changed for the worse? In a few years what will it have to offer? The Answer..

Now I'm going to get straight to the point and ask what I think is the most important question on Epinions.

Has Epinions improved or will it just change again untill it will not have anything else to offer?

Examples:

Alladvantage changed so that you don't get your .50 cents an hour.

Desktopdollars changed from .50 cents to a random rate going from .0001 to a few pennies an hour.

Seachtraffic doesn't even send out checks.

And other companies lost so many members it was forced to shutdown.

Lets look at what has changed. First of all let me give thumbs up on the layout of the website, the new rating system, the drafts feature, the pictures when you search for a product, each opinion having a "content" number, but now you ask..
"So whats so bad?"

Well before if you had a good opinion you would be one of the top 3. So chances of your opinion getting read are 1/3, and some people read all 3. But now Epinions has changed so the top 3 opinions that recommend something and the top 3 opinions that don't recommend it get get on the top 6. So that means your opinion has a 1/6 chance of getting read. And I would think people read one recommending opinion and one non-recommending opinion, leaving you with best 2/6 chances.
So what this means is you get less hits, and less hits means less of an income share, and that means less dough for most Epinionators.

Overall I think the new changes will lead to more changes and soon Epinions will end up like Alladvantage or Desktopdollars, offering so called "better" options.

What do you think?
