I built my computer 5 years ago. I've made some upgrades, I have replaced my keyboard several times.
I have tried other keyboards but always come back to this one. It is made right. It has great feel. Those of you who type know what that means.
For me, a keyboard has to feel like an IBM typewriter. That is, I guess, because that is what I typed for years on. To me, nothing quite feels like an IBM, except this here Keytronic keyboard. The lady at the computer store is a typist and this is what she swears by.
When I have used other keyboards, I have to concentrate on my typing and can't think about what it is I'm typing. With this keyboard, I'm free to create.
It isn't wireless but so what. Also, it is the standard configuration as opposed to the microsoft natural configuration. Again, so what.
What it is is very robust.
I found out the hard way that the keyboard is not spill proof. But then, it doesn't claim to be. Besides, you shouldn't be eating when your at your computer working (belch, excuse me).
I overpaid, but I needed it and the only place that had it is a local computer store.
