Sock It To 'Em Baby!!

The Bottom Line I recommend wearing socks that are comfortable for your feet because feet are important in everyday life.

Since I found several reviews about socks in this Epinions community, I thought I'd join in and write whatever comes into my head about socks and give up looking for the title of my book I originally wanted to write about because Epinions doesn't have it listed. It doesn't matter anyway, it was only a book about socks.

Socks are very important. They are used on the feet to keep the feet comfortable. We use our feet in everyday life and the right socks are very important as well as the left socks Choosing socks is very easy but can be very expensive these days. Socks help keep the feet feel more comfortable wearing shoes.

When I was little I used to like to use socks as mittens or puppets but I was just being funny. My brothers would draw faces on the socks with black markers. Sometimes they used the socks to carry marbles.

My dog loves socks so much that we are always losing our socks around here. We find them weeks later buried in the cushions of the sofa or in the most unlikely spots. No matter how careful we are in putting away our socks, our dog always finds them. She likes slippers also but that's for another silly story in this community. Back in the 70's a book came out by Dr. Seuss about a fox in socks. My daughter had fun listening to me become tongue-tied reading about socks.

When I was little my mother always bought us white cotton socks with a faint smell of smoke and she used to get those socks at the Bargain Center in Quincy Square for 25-cents.

The Bargain Center was an outlet store where they sold items left over from stores that caught on fire and because of the smell of smoke, they could not sell those items. So...the Bargain Center got the smokey socks and my mother bought them and then we got them. There were 5 of us kids so my mother had to buy plenty of socks.

My father wore stretchy brown socks, he did not like white socks. My mother wore nylons at all times. She never wore socks. I always wore pretty dresses to school with patent leather shoes and white cotton socks with the tops folded down.

When I came home and the weather was warm, I'd like to go barefooted and throw my socks aside. To this day I always buy white socks.

My daughters wore brand name sneakers with heavy stretchy white socks and my son wore white socks sometimes with baseball emblems on them to school. Dr. Seuss loved socks too, they made the fox more comfortable and foxy. Well all I can say is that socks do keep your feet warm and comfortable.

Today socks come in all kinds of material and colors...and prices. That's all I can write about socks except the Red Sox but that's another review.

Thank you so much for taking your time to read my review about socks. I had a lot of fun writing it because the words just flowed from me as I typed. I'm sure Epinions is going to gain so much on all of these sock reviews.
