Pros: Fits in the palm of your hand; very lightweight and portable.
Cons: Volume level does not go up as high as I'd like it to.
The Bottom Line: Although the Road Warrior digital recorder may be slightly more expensive then other digital brands, I would highly recommend it to those desiring excellent sound quality.

| marniewhi's Full Review: Road Warrior DVR 004 Digital Voice Recorder |
I have purchased several portable recorders and the Road Warrior is by far the one I choose to use most often. Although I use headphones to listen to the recordings (I can hear what I've recorded more clearly), I have been very pleased with the sound/record quality and the 4 separate files make saving specific data very convenient and easily accessable. When compared to the other recorders I've used, the Road Warrior picks up less "background" noise and has the ability to pick up even "the smallest of sounds" (especially when utilizing the accompanying microphone attachment vs the built-in microphone).
There is an option to record in SP/LP (short play/long play); the only difference I've noticed so far is that when recording in the SP mode, the recorder picks up the "slightest sounds" more audibly.
