Pros: All the fun of monopoly without the paperwork
Cons: Takes a damn long time to play --- just like the board game
The Bottom Line: Probably the best electronic version of Monopoly I have seen so far. It delivers everything fans of Monopoly are looking for. If you like Monopoly, you'll have fun with this.

I think it's safe to say that pretty much everybody has played the original board game version of Monopoly at least once. Like it or not, this is a fairly good adaptation of the original.
There are many good things to say about the features of this game. When starting a game, you can set a number of different rule options such as: double money for landing on go, free parking payout, even house building, etc. Fans of the board game Monopoly will recognize a lot of these options are the sort of "house" rules variations that many people play with. Other features such as trading, and auctions add to the "fun factor".
The controls for gameplay are very straightforward, and pictures representing the buttons to press are displayed onscreen for every menu option. While I had no problem picking up the controls easily, others I played with became inexplicably confused by some of the menus.
The graphics of the game are very simple, but amusing. Character animations are pretty cute, and the 3D neighbourhoods on the board suitably portray their dollar values. The animations can get a little tedious when playing with a lot of computer players, as it can take forever to watch their pieces move around the board. Thankfully, these animations can be turned off in the game options.
This is probably the best electronic game version of Monopoly that I have seen so far, and I'm pretty confident it delivers everything that fans of Monopoly are looking for. As far as I'm concerned, it's great to play Monopoly without having to worry about the accounting and paperwork. If you like Monopoly, you will have fun with this one.
