The World Wide Web is a very wonderful thing, full of oodles of useful (and useless) information. But what good is all of that information if you can't get to it? That's where Google comes in. It simply blows away any other search engine out there....Return to opinion

Thanks everybody for your great comments!!
A special thanks to you Gary for pointing out something I missed! I actually used their "who links to you" feature a few months ago when I had to move one of my sites -- I e-mailed people who were still linking to my old address. For some odd reason I thought that the "link:" search was listed on the "refined search" URL I provided, but now I see that it wasn't, so I'm going to add that to my review right now.

You certainly covered all the important bases. The only other thing that I would add, and this feature is especially useful to those that have their own home page, is that Google allows one to see who has linked to your home page.
To try it, click on Services and Tools, on the left hand side click on Google Features, under Google Web Search Features it's the last one, Who links to you?.

I agree with the points you made about Google.com
There is nothing I can't find using it.
I notice they are spinning off a shopping site called Froogle.com that is still in it's beta trials, I think.
You did a nice job at writing your review.

Great info!! I will give Google another shot. I am usually an alltheweb.com person.
