Yahoo is one of the most popular search engines out there. Ever since the internet came out, Yahoo is the first one I've heard of. Since then it has been growing and still continues to be on top. Yahoo has it's advantages and disadvantages.
Since Yahoo is well known, everyone wants to get their listings on Yahoo, so you will find tons and tons of listings as you search. But lately I find Yahoo to lag sometimes when it's searching. I think someone needs to clean Yahoo up, there is too much garbage on it. A lot of the times, the top searches turn out to be dead links. I find this everytime I search.
Yahoo is great for searching but I think it all depends for what you search for and how you word it. I still use Yahoo everyday as I search for a topic. The only thing I don't like is sometimes it's response time can be slow and I really don't like that whole broken links stuff. I do suggest you to use Yahoo, because it is a very good search engine, they just need some cleaning up to do with the dead links!
