-First thing you should know is that I haven't had a chance to play the complete game yet. That being said this will be a review of the first impressions i've gathered from the game. The story is as follows; you are Agent Blood Rayne a half vampire. Your mission is to track down a Nazi bad guy before he can do something really bad.
-You start off in Louisiana and first thing i notice is that it looks like a rip off of resident evil everything from bad guys to the graphics. The controls are simple left analog stick to go forward left right (strafe) and back. The right analog stick controls where you look and turn. Attack buttons are the shoulder buttons making it easy to run turn and slice, or shoot.
-The gameplay itself seems well done you get a whole bunch of cool attacks using your arm blades as well as a formidable arsenal. The ability to target multiple targets with your guns makes crowded battles much easier. Next are the cool special abilities. If you kill a whole bunch of guys you can engage blood rage which allows you to dispatch your foes with a fury by making everything go into slow motion. Running low on life? Not a problem she can suck blood from most creatures to regain some life.
-My overall first impression of the game: Blood Rayne's simplicity cool characters and special abilities make it seem as though it will be fun to play. The graphics are decent but nothing exceptional but after playing Metroid Prime all other games' graphics appear just that much worse. I'll let you know my full opinion just as soon as I've had a chance to play it.
