Pros: Better Graphics, improved gameplay
Cons: gets boring after a while, hard to keep your city out of bankruptcy
The Bottom Line: get it - it's the best overall title in the series.

I've played all the SimCity titles before, so I went out and bought SC4 the day it came out.
I must say, I wasn't expecting much in the way of improved gameplay - just better graphics.
After playing it for hours, I can honestly say this title was more than I expected, and had good graphics, too.
This time, you can zoom in even futther, without loss of quality grpahics. You can watch the firefighters put out fires, watch roads being built, and new cities get more residents alot faster than SC3k. There's also alot of new buildings, but I won't spoil it for those of you who are going to get it.
The only complaints I had were that your city goes into bankruptcy way too fast - it's improssible to keep the budget in the black. You have to cut back funding on transportation and power plants, and then workers start striking. Also, you can't start disasters from 'mayor' mode.
I also noticed (on my 2.4ghz, 200gb, 1gb RAM system) that it is alot slower when saving and opening games than SC3k. The saved games are also larger.
