Hi Craig -
Yes, I will be posting a complete review of my Falcon NW Mach V system. So far my experience with the company has been fantastic.
A week ago, they called me to ask if I'd intended to omit a floppy drive as they had my PC on the bench and wanted to make sure this was the case. They also talked me out of much more expensive Corsair XMS-2700 RAM as in their experience it added nothing to the stability and speed of the systems.
In contrast, I still have my credit card bill to Alienware in dispute with my credit card company as they have not yet refunded my purchase. (They promised 24 hours, it's been like 2 weeks now.)
Thanks! Glad your PC is up and running and that you love it!

Hi- Just want to clarify my rating based on your comment. The 4 stars ranks my overall experience with this computer after having used it for about two weeks (mainly as a gaming PC). Aside from the initial issues I had, this computer has been running great and I've been really happy with it. I'm glad to hear you had an excellent Falcon NW experience as I had also considered them, but found them much pricier for an equivalent PC. Will you be posting a full review? I would like to read it to take it into consideration for my next PC purchase(in two to three years). Thanks!

4 Stars??? This reads like a negative review.... (Reply to this comment)

Hi -
After spending $3500 and waiting a month for your computer, which supposedly went through a 200-point quality control process, you report:
- TWO tech problems that required you calling Alienware
- Noisy fans
- A problem you say was THEIR fault, yet they refused to correct it without charging YOU a 15% fee.
Part of the reason for the high cost of these machines is their support/service/quality control, and according to your report, it seems to have been lacking in a big way.
I went through some hassles with the company myself for the past 6 weeks, and I'm not at all surprised to read about the 15% fee and tech problems w/a 'tested' computer. Having a great experience now with Falcon NW...
