i_hate_myself's Full Review: Sony MDR-V700DJ MDR-V700DJ Studio Monitor Series D...
When I originally decided to purchase headphones, I picked out the MDR-V300 headphones, mainly for the cost. After using them for a few months, there were multiple problems with them. Mainly, there was no bass, and they would distort if I tried to turn it up. My friend recommended these headphones, and the money was well worth the upgrade.
The cups on each of them are large enough to fit around your entire ear, which closes out all outside noise. There is enough padding on to keep your head comfortable even while wearing them for extended periods of time. They are highly adjustable, and come with a handy little carrying bag. The cord is coiled so as to be able to extend fairly far, but when it's not needed it will constrict.
Overall a great product and well worth the upgrade, though they are not quite audiophile quality yet.
