Ease of Use:
Pros:Very fast, internal SD Card slot, excellent GeForce4 graphics, internal wireless LAN.
Cons:Floppy drive extra, somewhat heavy, gets very hot.
The Bottom Line: Looking for a good work-horse? This is the machine for you!
This is an incredible machine. A bit heavy and pricey (retail cost) but with Toshiba's name you can't go wrong. I am thoroughly impressed and that takes allot considering I'm a techie by trade. Required external floppy (versus a swappable bay) is somewhat of a pain but no big deal. WHAT a machine! Comes with Pentium4 and 256Mb RAM - I added another 256 to improve performance - good move. TV Output, CD-RW/DVD combo - great features! GeForce 420 with nVIDIA – great graphics. Comes standard with BOTH an internal Intel Pro100 LAN and internal Toshiba wireless LAN (11Mbs). Dual PCMCIA slots.
