hey by now any Zelda fan who owns an N64 has probably bought the sequel to ocarina of time. In Majoras Mask Link has to stop the evil skull kid from destroying termina by dropping a moon on it. Unlike Gannon's plots to rule the world; in which Link has unlimited amount of time to stop gannon; Skull kid has only given Link 3 days to complete his mission. To make matters worse Skull kid has stolen Link's Ocarina of time, and has turn him into a deku plant.
How do I get the ocarina back and get my human body back.
Here is how you do that. When you first enter clock towns clock you will meet the happy mask salesmen he will promise you to turn you back to a human if you can get your ocarina back. Here how it is done.
step 1 the 2nd you exit clock town enter the laundry (note it should be up the stairs by a mail box). Grab the fairy that is floating above the river by the bell.
Next go to north clock town (the quickest way is behind the clock)and enter a cave. If you have collected the fairy in the laundry she will pop up and fly with the others making the great fairy appear. The great fairy will give you a magic meter and the ability to shoot bubbles out of your face.
Out of the cave pop the red balloon with the green man on it. Talk to him and buy a map of clock town.
Pop the baleen with the majoras mask on it in the north side and talk to the bomber in the red hat. He will tell you to play a game for a code.
To beat the little game you must find all the bombers in one day. Here is their locations.
There are two on the north side.
One is in a corner by the great fairy fountain hiding behind a tree. The next one is hiding by the slide and the tree with the heart piece in it.
There are two on the East Side.
The first one is on top of milk bar. When he sees you he will fly to the ground with a cucco. Jump down after him and catch him.
The next one is on top of the stockpot inn. If it's daytime enter the inn and climp up the stairs and enter the door on the left side on top of the stairs. If it's night you will have to use the deku flower between the inn and the treasure chest building. he will also jump down from the roof so be prepared to have to chase after him.
One on the West Side. The last one is on the West Side of town hanging out by the post office.
After finding all 5 they will give you a code. Go to east clock town and tell the code to the bomber standing by the mayor’s office. He will let you into their hide out. Go thorough the tunnel to reach the observatory.
Once there talk to the old guy and he will let you look thorough his telescope. Look on top of the clock tower to see Skull kid. He will bring down a moon tear which will land near the observatory. Run out the nearest door and grab the tear.
Make your way back through the bombers hide out and head back to town. Once there go to south clock town and find a gold flower. A deku will come flying down and yell at you. Show him the moon tear to get him to move. Next you will have to wait till midnight of the final day. If it is not the night of the final day go to the trading post in west clock town and dance with the scarecrow until it is.
When it is midnight the clock tower will open. Jump into the flower and fly to the pedestal with a heart, and then go inside the clock. There you will see skull kid and Tael. Tael will tell you swamp, mountain, ocean, and canyon. The four who are there bring them here. The skull kid will get bad and bring the moon down even faster. After the commotion shoot skull kid with the bubble and he will drop the Ocarina.
Grab it and you will see a flash back of princess Zelda playing the song of time. After the flash back Tatl will yell at you for wasting time by grabbing the instrument. She will then pray for more time. Answer her prayers by playing the newly learn song of time on your ocarina.
After a brief cinematic scene you will find a very confuse Link and Tatl in clock town on the first day. go into the clock tower on the bottom and talk to the happy mask seller to learn the song of healing and get transform back into normal Link.
what is the song the scarecrow talks about.
If you talk to the scarecrow he will tell you of a song to speed up and slow down time by playing it different ways. The song is the song of time. Play the song of time hitting each button twice (right, right, A, A, Down, Down) and you will skip to the next day or night. Play it backwards (down, a, right, down, a, right) to slow it down to give you more time.
side quest.
Now there are a lot of side quests in the game hear are some of the biggest.
Romanis ranch side quest. This will get you your horseback, eponas song, the ability to carry powder keg, and Romani’s mask.
After beating the 2nd dungeon in the mountains visit the bomb shop in goron village. You will get a powder keg carry it to the boulder on the road to Goron City. Then return to the bomb shop and get your license.
Play the song of time to return to the first day in clock town.
First day.
Go to the bomb shop in clock town and talk to the goron there in goron form. He will sell you a powder keg. Go to milk road and blow up the boulder there with the powder keg.
Talk to Romani the young girl in the main field of the ranch and pop the balloons in the amounted time. once completed you will get your horse back and eponas song (note once you learn eponas song all you have to do is play it on the field to get your horse.). Promise to help her with her ghost problem.
Return to the ranch around 2 o clock in the morning. When the ghost start attacking shoot them with arrows while riding your horse. The ghosts will keep coming back in till dawn, and if one of them gets into the barn you will have to play the song of time and start all over.
If you’re successful in protecting the barn Romaini will give you a bottle of milk and go back inside her house.
2nd day
Wait till the 6 o clock at night the next day and talk to Cremia to get on the wagon. While on the ride you will be attack by bandits protect Cremaia's milk bottles from the two bandits. You have unlimited amount of arrows, so feel free to fire has fast has many has you want. If they break all the bottles you will have to play the song of time and start all over again. If you succeed you will get the Romanis mask, which will let you get into the milk bar at night.
Get the gilded sword.
To get a better sword that won't go away whenever you have to travel back in time this is what you have to do. You must have beaten the 2nd level and have gotten the ability to carry powder kegs.
First beat the level two boss again to bring spring to the mountains.
Buy a powder keg and blow up the rock that to the goron-racing field (it's the same one you had to blow up to get the ability to carry the powder kegs.). Win the goron races on the first day to get a bottle and gold dust. Next go to the sword smith and get your sword redone. This will cost you 100 rupees so prepared to pay up.
Next play the song of double time until you arrive at the dawn of the 2nd day. Get your sharpen sword. After receiving your sword talk to the little man at the smiths house. Give him the gold dust and play the song of double time till you arrive at the next day. Talk to them again to get the gilded sword. The gilded sword is longer, more powerful, and won't go away when you play the song of time.
Anju and Kafei.
The biggest side quest in the game is the Anju and Kafei here is what you do.
Wait till 2 o clock on the first day and talk to Anju to get the key. Talk to her wearing Kafei's mask to set up an appointment at the inn at 11:30 at night. Wait till 11:30 and go talk to Anju in the inn's kitchen. She will give you a letter. Deposit the letter and then play the song of double time.
During the 2nd day go to the laundry and wait till around 3 o clock. When the mailman arrives sneak into the door the kid with the Keaton mask comes out of. Wait in the room on top of the stairs until the kid comes back and talk to him. He will give you his pennant. Run back to the inn and give it to Anju. Play the song of double time.
the next day wait till 1 o clock and go into the door at the laundry. The guy who runs the curiosity shop will be there. he will give you the Keaton mask and priority mail. Now you might want to do up to this part twice because what you do with the piroty mail can give you two different items; both very helpful in completing the game. If you give you priority mail to the post man at night; you can get the postman's hat. If you have the Romanis mask go into the milk bar, and give the letter to the mayors wife for a bottle.
Now to complete the quest you will need the garos mask, epona, and the hook shot. Head east into Ikana canyon. Once there go right of the entrance until you come to a group of rocks. You will find Kafe hiding behind them. Play the song of double time to make it night. Hide behind the rocks with him until the thief opens the hide out. go in there and solve the puzzles before the mask gets to the end of the convaer belt. Once kaffe gets the mask play the song of soaring to get back to clock town. Enter the stockpot inn and go into anjus room (the first door on the right). Wait until the countdown timer hits a 1 m 30 s and Kaffe will come in with the mask. the two of them will exchange masks and you will end up with the couples mask. Play the ocarina of time to save and travel back to the beginning of the first day.
