I do still use paltalk, but I'm shopping for something better. Paltalk personnel have the worst attitude I've ever seen toward their customers. I and many others have paid the fee to eliminate advertising, but they still interrupt the chat sessions every few minutes with promotions for all kinds of brainless stuff, and won't answer complaints about this unethical business practice. I started a free non-commercial chatroom on paltalk, and in a year built it up to over 70 participants. Paltalk terminated it with only 5 minutes notice and no explanation except "you are a commercial room, you have to pay another fee right now or we're shutting you down". There was nothing commercial about the room, and requests for an explanation were never answered. My 1000's of hours of volunteer effort were down the drain in a couple of minutes. Definitely don't invest in PalTalk, they won't last long!
