Wonderful cooking experience/Bad customer service experience

Purchased the range in November. Very easy to use; not so easy to keep the black Ceran cooktop clean and looking polished. It streaks easily, and must be completely cool for the cleaner provided with the range to work well. The large burners boil water very quickly; the convection settings are easy to convert and use. It has great features. The large grates make it easy to slide the pots across to go from high heat to low. I have been making lots of bread and pizza dough with the excellent, time saving proofing feature. The major drawback is the gas smell. We purchased a gas leak detector and found a pin hole in the pipe going from the gas regulator to the oven. We are working with Kitchenaid and the dealer to resolve it. It seems Kitchenaid does not appropriately test their stoves before they get shipped.
UPDATE: After three weeks of numerous phone calls to (Kitchenaid) Whirlpool, we have yet to resolve the issue of the gas leak. I would like to have the range replaced, as I do not believe replacing gas lines on a gas range is an acceptable or safe solution. I am getting NOWHERE with Whirlpool and their customer service voice mail system is really annoying!!
