So true, so sweet (Reply to this comment)
by corona13
I loved this epinion. It rings so true as to the lost meaning of Valentine's Day. And your conclusion as to what you and your wife did on V-Day ... I just about melted from the sweetness. =) Cheers!

Nothing wrong with being a romantic! Women love it whether they admit it or not!
This from a woman who freely admits to being a diehard romantic and proud of it! :)

Cheers to your fine review. Now, I'm reading this after Valentine's Day. Can I still enjoy this review today, or any of the other 365 days of the year? Hmm...what a quagmire.
Nice work

...that is probably the most dead-on Valentine's Day epinions review I've seen yet.
Bravo.

Re: Sorry, but (Reply to this comment)

My browser crashed mid-chat and it left a phantom 'cwkemp' in the user list, so I had to log in again under a different name.
Being very creative, it became 'cwkemp1' ;-)
Thanks for all the comments everyone...

This was really sweet! I don't usually stop to read any of these Valentine posts but for some reason I decided to look at yours. I'm glad I did. :)

My husband says he's not romantic (Reply to this comment)
by telefrog
But like you, he has never lost sight of the fact that this is about love, not money! I'd much rather find post-it notes saying "I Love You" frozen to the dashboard on Valentine's morning (been there all night - he snuck out after I fell asleep the night before because I get up before he does) than get a box of candy or roses (I prefer carnations anyway). It really is the thought that counts - thank you for reminding those who have forgotten.

Thank you for sharing your excellent points. My wife and I are very busy (who isn't) and sometimes drift from those very special early moments in our relationship but we had a beautiful Valentine's Day today and the beauty all came rushing back. Thanks again for sharing.
