Pros: GREAT sound.
Cons: Expensive for a clock radio - audiophiles only!
The Bottom Line: It's the same quality as Bose, but considerably less expensive.

I was initially looking for the BoseWave Radio/CD combo, but the price is never discounted, a tradition that goes against all electronics retailing philosophy. So, in search of audiophile sound quality but not wanting to spend well over $400, I came across the Kloss Model 88CD. Same features, same sound quality, but $100 less. And the sound quality is stupendous - it delivers like a good bookshelf system - fills the room and then some with sound texture and clarity, not just volume. Available in slate or ivory, it differs from the Bose in that the CD player is not centrally located - it's offset to the right side of the unit. Comes with a credit-card size remote, dual alarm, and the usual clock radio features. But, if you're only looking for something to wake you up and don't give a hoot about radio/CD sound quality, find something cheaper.
