I was first introduced to Body Drench by my Nail Tech, who used it on my hands and feet after each manicure and pedicure.

It always made my skin feel good and I loved the way it smelled. I hadn't ever heard of it or seen it in any stores, so I assumed it was something that was only sold to Professionals - and not available to the general public.

Then one day I was in my local Beauty Store and noticed Body Drench up on the shelf. I was thrilled and knew I would not be leaving the store without purchasing a bottle.

I picked up the tester bottle from the shelf and pumped a little into my palm and rubbed it in. Then I cupped my face with my hands and inhaled deeply. MMMMMM. Yum! I love the scent - which is similar to baby powder.

I turned the bottle around to check the price. Ouch! $13.95 for a 16.9 oz. bottle! I was shocked. I couldn't believe a bottle of lotion could cost so much! I suddenly realized why my Nail Tech charged so much - she had to make enough money to recover the expense of this stuff!

Not sure what to do... I hemmed and hawed for a few minutes and ended up purchasing it anyway. What pushed me over the fence was all the years I had loved the way it smelled and felt after my manicures and pedicures. I knew I would regret not having it available to use at home... so I sucked it up and forked over the dough. And I have not been sorry.

It turns out that my 16.9 oz. bottle lasted for a long time - close to six months... easing the pain of the cost. I love Body Drench. I love the way it feels on my skin and I always receive compliments on the way I smell when I've used it.

I've used Body Drench for several years now. In my personal experience, I have found that it does absorb quickly and glides on smoothly. My skin feels soft and never greasy. The suggestion to apply liberally "hits the nail on the head" - as a little does not go a long way. The fact that my bottle lasted me close to six months can be attributed to the fact that I didn't use it every day.

Body Drench is probably best used during the summer or by people who do not suffer from severely dry skin. The scent and feel are great - but this product does not offer long lasting moisture - and repeated application would be necessary... especially if you frequently wash your hands, as I do. It is this factor that keeps me from rating Body Drench with 5 stars.

So far, I have only been able to find the 16.9 oz. pump bottle in stores like Beauty Store. A squeeze tube would be nice - especially for travel.

While the price is up there, I often find "buy one, get one free" specials and take advantage of them whenever I can.

I even bought a bottle as a Christmas gift for one of my friends who regularly raved about the way I smelled when I used Body Drench. Thankfully - there was a "buy one, get one free" sale at the time, and I got a bottle for myself as well.
