Cons: This system only works as a phone via connection to another phone.
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend the Logitech cordless telephone system. With this system you are required to be next to the supporting telephone in order to make or end a call.

After receiving the Logitech cordless telephone system I found that it was not an independent telephone. In order for this system to work as a telephone in needs to be connected to a corded telephone. This item does not have a key pad. In order to make a call the alternate telephone hand set must be placed on the Logitech cradle and then you dial from the alternate telephone. The hand set must be replaced to the alternate telephone to end the call. There is also the telephone configuration setup. The control has six positions. You move the configuration switch through positions 1-6 until you hear a dial tone. Multiple settings may produce a dial tone but only one will allow you to be heard by the party you are calling. In order to confirm that you have chosen the correct setting you have to make a call and test that your voice can be heard by the other party.
