More 24 hour eateries in SF!

The Bottom Line Stick to Sparky's and Baghdad Cafe!
Not far from Sparky's (see megugrrrl's review in this section), there are two other 24 hour places:
- Baghdad Cafe (Market at 16th Street) - another diner... the best thing is probably the fresh roast turkey sandwiches.
Sometimes they're very friendly, other times cranky... sometimes the music is good, other times you may be treated to an 80's medly of Barry Manilow (sorry for you fans, it's just not my idea of fun), but it's another good choice after Sparky's.
The late night crowd runs the gamut from gayer than gay to glitter children to hippies to just ordinary looking people (with perhaps a twist...).
- Orphan Andy's (17th near Castro) - Another all night place, in the heart of the Castro. A bit more expensive than Sparky's or Baghdad, and a bit more of a gay scene. It's packed on weekends after the bars close.

If you somehow find yourself in the Marina, there's still hope:
- Mel's Drive-In (Lombard between Filmore and Steiner) is open all night, and even has its own parking lot. But I had one of the worst salads of all time there, so I'm not sure it always lives up to even the mediocre standard of the other Mel's around town. Beware! It's 24 hours only on the weekends.
