The Bottom Line "Better to get there late than not at all!"
Have you ever been in a situation where you are driving down the road and someone flies around you nearly running you off the road? Or, are you that person? Traffic accidents happen all the time because of careless driving, or people getting in to big of a hurry. As my driver's Ed. teacher once told me, it is better to get there late, than not at all...
I was on my way to school yesterday morning and the weather was awful! The roads were wet and slippery and it was really cold out. Some spots were solid sheets of ice, and I heard over the radio that conditions were only getting worse. Since I am a very cautious driver I left early for class knowing that it would take longer to get there(the thirty minute trip took an hour this time!!). I set the cruise on my car at 55, reasonable, I thought!But... I was almost to school when not one but two cars flew past me. At this time it was pouring down raining!! I could barely see ten feet in front of me! Gosh, they must have been in a real hurry, huh? The funny part, when I got to school there was one of the cars that had passed me so frantically just pulling in the parking lot...Get this, the guy that got out was in my first class...The funniest part, he was late to class!! Weird huh?
I guess my point here is just be cautious when driving, and remember it is better to get there late, than not at all!!
