Pros: many features, good sound, easy to use, remote control
Cons: out of production, no digital in or out, no MDLP compatability, equalizer is preset only
The Bottom Line: Good value if you can still find it, a great first MiniDisc stereo system.

this is a sweet little sound system, very good and affordable if you´re looking for an MD system at an affordable price. I´ve had mine for quite some time and enjoyed it completely.
The MD dubbing is good and there is a possibility of connecting it to the computer thru a (expensive) hardware add-on, can also be connected to a special tape deck that gives you all available media today.
Has FM/AM and short wave (if you have the right antenna, otherwise doesn´t work worth a damn), comes with CDtext recognition, RIS for european radio broadcast, does digital CD to MD recording in many different modes because of the 5 bays for each one. on the rear side you can find quite a few in and out RCA ports which allow other things to be connected as opposed to other cheaper decks which have next to nothing.
being an older system it doesn´t support MDLP which is a pity since my walkman does and altho it CAN be connected to the computer it´s also unfortunately not netMD compatible, had it been this sound system would have been perfect.
